           Amantine Brodeur is a reclusive literary alchemist and explorer

of the mundane and ordinary. Raised within a confluence African and European cultural and artistic disciplines, Amantine Brodeur explores identity, dislocation and trauma through both the ritual and residue

of femininity.

 

The evocative voyeurism of a distinctly 'female gaze', opens out

an exploration, articulating what remains inarticulate in being human,

in being female and feminine, against an inherently masculine and

often hostile, predatory proscenium.

She hopes she explores language fearlessly denuding convention in search of dignity.
